Problem with rims! Help!

I have 16 inch motegi rims, i have had nothing but problems, i got them road force balanced today and it ended up making the shaking worse, i need to get a set of oem 16 inch rims, most likely it will have to be from a camry or corolla from 02 and up. Any idea where i can find a used set?

Craigslist, junk yard, car-part.com, the classifieds section here, ebay. (By the way... your rim is probably bent, out of balance, or you have a bad tire.)

you could also check out 02-03 solara OEM 16'' rims, see in my sig. they should be pretty popular on ebay and craigslist as well.

try re-balancing them for the last time in a shop using Hunter GSP9700 machine. it really helped me with highway vibrations on both Solaras.

not sure where you live in NJ, but I use the balancer in Clifton, NJ (Mobile Sound - Nick). It's a small shop selling rims and accessories, also intalling tint and car alarms, right off Route 3 near Clifton, NJ.

This guy knows what he's doing.

Aren't the 99-01 V6 SPORT package 'lara rims similar to those?

edit: They are.

that is gen1 Solara (sport package as you said), but mine is gen1.5 (02-03), different head lights, grille, front bumper, different tail lights and different rims.

EDIT:

funny, before Winter I've seen my rims all over car-part.com and ebay ... now nada ... all are different, WTF??

need to check my bookmarks, I hope I saved some ...

UPDATE:

ah, no I got it. the rim is same, just hub cap is different on sporty package (or something got updated in meantime).

I live in central jersey, the place i used was the only place with a road force balancer around, and they charged me $65, and they made it twice as bad, i got 2 brand new tires today under warranty, im trying to get the other 2 replaced because these tires have a problem with belts shifting, but these rims are causing such a problem

don't tell me about bad rims mine are scratched to hell and bent a little (all of them, not visible, but I can feel it).

I'm keeping the worst ones in rears and 2 best in fronts. Before re-balancing at Mobile Sound I could barely drive the car without loosing my teeth

i feel the same, but my rims arent scratched and i try to keep them in good shape, i just really need to get some oem rims, aftermarket was a really bad idea, i feel the whole car shaking at times, but sometimes its worse and sometimes its not as bad, i dont get it

if shaking stops a little or gets better when accelerating and gets worse when cruising or coasting, then they are out of balance (out of round and/or bent a little). mine were like that. whenever I was letting the gas pedal off the vibrations were coming at 50+ mph.

well when i hit 60 or more i feel it, but say i get on the highway and accelerate to 80, i will feel it alot, then it will kinda stop shaking as much, but its still there, then maybe 30 second later its back to full force
