Change intake Manifold gasket and cv-boot

All,

The dealership told us my g/f's car has two issues. They said the intake manifold gasket is leaking oil, ever so slowly, but it is leaking oil. They also mentioned that the CV-joint boot is leaking grease. When I looked under the car I did not see any tear in the CV-Boot, but I might have not looked close enough. I have changed brakes, oil, and done other small things on cars, how difficult would it be to change the intake manifold gasket and the cv-joint boot?

Thanks in advance,

Hostage

Both of these tasks are more complicated than pad/oil change.

If you decide to dive in - first buy a factory service manual for GFs year/make/model.

You'll need a good set of hand tools with a variety of socket sizes/entensions/wrenches/etc.

Intake gasket or valve cover gasket? This is the intake manifold gasket (mainly air seldom oil). Valve cover gasket usually leaks oil.
