Hey everyone,
I just wanted to say hi to everyone here in the Highlander forums, and a thank you as well. I've been lurking in these forums since about November, which was about the time that we decided the Highlander was the top vehicle on our shopping list. Your posts have been helpful, and being that we've never had a Toyota in the family before a Highlander was something entirely different.
So more on the Highlander...
Its a 2010 Limited V6 4WD with the Navigation, black on black (exactly the way we wanted it)
This is primarily going to be my moms new truck, and being that shes going from a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GT, this is quite the upgrade.
The truck was bought on Saturday, and now we are excitiedly waiting on a call from the Toyota dealer regarding when we pick it up (they said Monday or Tuesday)
Is there anything in paticular that we should look for when picking it up? The truck had some vehicle delivery inspection checklist sitting in the glove compartment that looked pretty thourough, so I'm assuming the dealer will go over all that before we can actually drive off the lot, but I figure its best to ask those who have been there before about things to look for.
Thanks again guys, I'll post pictures once we get it!

Let me be the first to say hello and to the Highlander forums on TN!
Glad to know the forums have been so helpful to you. We've got a lot of great members who contribute a lot to each other, which makes it a great little community.
As for picking up your Highlander, I'd suggest making sure the dealer goes over the whole checklist with you if they don't do it automatically. Also, do the same with a "check ride" before accepting Highlander. That's a great time to pick up things like wind noise from a bad door seal and have any potential issues addressed right away. Hopefully, your baby will arrive in pristine shape. BTW, feel free to post up some pics later if you like.
