Hello all looking for some info..Gotta 94 3vze which i couldnt align to 1tdc..due to which i found to be a failed crank pulley...came off in two parts. Gonna ask a silly question first as i kinda know the answer...but can i repair/resurface the rubber...as its glazed over smooth steel like..? and im having a hell of a time finding a replacement part..called the part yards and automotive stores...no one seems to have one...does anyone know of a pulley from another manufacturer or application that can be used??
Thanks
Paul

The 3VZE crank pulley, is a 2 piece. the Power steering drive pulley bolts to the main pulley with 4 bolts. Is this your meaning? please search (google) for 1993 toyota FSM, look at the 3vze engine section, Page EG2-32 "Timing Belt Components" for a diagram.
Hope this helps.
If not, can you clarify your issue. Pics Help.

Ya that's what I'm talking about. My problem is that's it spun and I can't align my top dead center. And can't get the part anywhere close.

define spun. it them main pulley itself separated (outer from inner?) or did the whole assembly spin on the crank shaft (take belts off, can you spun the crank pulley freely?) Is the woodruff key missing or damaged? (the pully needs to come completely off to verify).

Ya inner separated from outer. Key and shaft are in good shape. So it looks like outer moved on me.
