maybe these people can do the conversion to the Sienna. I just want decent gas mileagle, my old 1977 B200 Dodge Convserion with a small 318 V8 got at the best 18 mph downhill with the wind pusing it, but I loved it..'



I want a sofa, sink, fridge.. with the wonderful smooth ride, it had lots of weight with a great ride! And I also had a swamp cooler on top..



if only it (or one like it) would get a combined of 25 mpg...



A 4 cylinder (really would need a turbo too) might run well, but I really think it needs a V6.. I really liked the rear wheel drive ( I grew up with rear wheel drive as I am 54 yrs old..), but have gotten used to front wheel drive with some Hondas and Toyota we have owned..

I don't think the Sienna will get you to this end. My Sienna, at it's best behavior, got 23 MPG on a road trip once. Most of the time it only gets 18 MPG. I'm tuning it up soon and I hope to get better performance but I'm not holding my breath.



On a different note, what you need is an old Dolphin or similar Toyota truck equipped RV. I've looked at getting one of these a few times. I also wonder why nobody makes a newer version. I don't think you will find one newer than '94.
